Main application:

Used in the manufacture of vitamins, sulfonamides, pesticides and plastics. Use as an alkaline solvent. A pyridine solution of pyridine and a metal salt or an organometallic compound is used as a catalyst. It can also be used as a raw material for silicone rubber stabilizers and anion exchange membranes. Used as a corrosion inhibitor, as an analytical reagent, widely used as a solvent, liquid chromatography eluent. Also used in organic synthesis.
